A less expensive version of the helmet was also delayed by the manufacturer, according to the sources. Around 1 million gadgets were supposed to be produced in the first 12 months. Now, according to sources close to Apple and Luxshare, the company’s Chinese contractor, Apple anticipates producing fewer than 400,000 units in 2024.
