If shares of a company have been growing steadily over a couple of months, this is certainly good. But such a result can hardly be compared with a consistent growth over several years. Nowadays, the S&P 500 index has five stocks, which grew by more than 20% in 2015, 2016 and 2017 (from the beginning of the year to the present day).

Some of these actions are familiar to you, and you may hear about others for the first time. So, success of NVidia is widely known and documented in the media. However, NVidia almost obscured another semiconductor producer, Broadcom. The growth of its shares is no less impressive.

Another little-known (but no less successful) IT company is DXC Technology. In fact, it was formed in April 2017 after the merger of Computer Sciences Corp. and a division of corporate services Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

The next company A. O. Smith is the smallest in this list. It produces water heaters and boilers. Nevertheless, it is highly appreciated by analysts. The most common rating for its shares is hold.

Finally, the last company, Northrop Grumman, works in the field of defense. It managed to achieve impressive profit growth thanks to the policy of increasing US military spending. Analysts give bullish predictions for the further growth of all five companies, so they definitely deserve a place in an investor’s portfolio.

Shares of Broadcom also deserve special attention: since July they have grown quite slowly, so that they will soon be rallied, experts are sure.
