The projected growth in global trade volume for 2024–2025 has been increased by 0.1 percentage points, to 3.1% and 3.4%, respectively.
The IMF projects that the average price of oil would rise by 0.8% in 2024 to $81.26/b (prior estimate: $78.61/b), up from the 2.5% fall that was previously predicted, then decline by 6% to $76.38/b (previous estimate: $73.68/b) in 2025.
