Germophobia, or, else called, mysophobia is a fear of being infected by microbes in contact with another person or object. People suffering from this symptom, as a rule, are constantly washing their hands, trying not to touch anything or someone else and very rarely leave their scrubbed-clean houses. For such people, the Japanese company Kyocera is releasing a smartphone called Digno Rafre, which body, if desired, can be thoroughly cleaned with antibacterial soap. The smartphone itself, of course, will not be affected, and will only become clearer.

Nowadays, water resistant gadgets are not a new experience, yet so far, cleaners were not included in the list of safe substances for them, as they may interfere with water-resistant gadget.
Of course, Digno Rafre smart phone was designed not only for mysophobics, but also for very practical people who do not want to worry about their mobile phones, using it in a variety of settings: when cooking, lying in the bath, in the rain, at workplace and so on.

In addition, the smartphone includes a TV tuner for watching Japanese television (not be sure if the tuner will operate outside of Japan, but still it’s something). The apparatus’ touch screen works even when it is all-over in water, but the developers never mentioned that it resistive. And what is more, the smart phone’s case heals itself from scratches and abrasions. Another unusual technology used in the gadget is transmission of sound in the human ear without any speaker through the skull bone using the ultrasound system.

As for the other technical characteristics, there is nothing special: Android 5.1 and a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720p, 13-megapixel camera and a battery capacity of 3000 mAh. The smartphone went on sale in Japan in mid-December at the price of 57,420 yen, or 465 dollars.
