New York tops the rating of the world's leading financial centers

New York has maintained its position as the top financial center worldwide, as determined by the Z/Yen Group Ltd.'s Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI).

New York has maintained its top position in the ranking since autumn 2018. In comparison to the last rating in March, New York's score decreased by one point to 763, while London, in second place, saw an increase of three points, bringing its total score to 750.

Hong Kong surpassed Singapore to take third place with 749 points, just edging ahead with a score of 747. San Francisco maintained its position in fifth place, Chicago rose to sixth place from ninth, Los Angeles moved up to seventh from eighth, and Shanghai fell to eighth place.

Two changes occurred in the top 10 ranking: Seoul and Geneva dropped out while Shenzhen and Frankfurt entered.
