The system, which is still being researched and modified, allows the car to avoid collisions with objects on its own, according to the company, by gathering data from the LIDAR technology, as well as radar and surveillance cameras.
"The vehicle is able to immediately examine the current situation, compute, and take the actions necessary to avoid a collision using the information obtained," the press release states.
The manufacturer also showed a test video of the ProPILOT Concept Zero, which included the technology under development.
