Nokia stated in a release that the agreement allows for the incorporation of its technologies in AT&T's extensive fiber-optic network, which is one of the biggest globally.

Specific details about the financial agreement were not revealed.

Nokia stated that this key partnership marks a significant achievement in setting the groundwork for future broadband services.

Last year, AT&T revealed plans to purchase around $14 billion in equipment from Ericsson in Sweden over a period of five years to establish an open radio access network (Open RAN) in the United States.

This choice resulted in a drop in Nokia's stock value and compelled the company to reduce its projected profits.
