Mele Kyari, head of the National Petroleum Corporation of Nigeria stated on his Twitter page, "We have lost our esteemed Dr. Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo."
According to the news, Barkindo passed away on July 5 at around 11 p.m. He was 63 years old.
It is unquestionably a big loss for his personal family, the NNPC, our nation of Nigeria, OPEC, and the international oil community, said Kyari.
