As reported by CNN, inhabitants of Boston, Portland, Washington, D.C., Tucson (Arizona), and various cities in California and Florida demonstrated on the streets. For the first time, Europeans participated in the protests, assembling outside Tesla stores in London, Barcelona, Lisbon, and Reykjavik. Altogether, approximately 50 demonstrations occurred during the weekend.

The demonstrators voiced their displeasure regarding the actions and remarks of the businessman, particularly in relation to his role in the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which was created by Donald Trump. Activists have urged a boycott of Tesla goods and for the company's investors to demand a no-confidence vote against Mr. Musk. The initial protests against Elon Musk outside Tesla showrooms took place in the United States in mid-February.

In Europe, Tesla's sales dropped by 45% in January compared to the same time last year, while the total sales of electric vehicles in Europe increased by 37% in January, with Mr. Musk backing the continent's ultranationalist groups.
