The IP67 dust- and waterproof-rated smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus octa-core processor with Adreno 640 integrated graphics accelerator, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via SD cards.

The 6.7-inch Quad HD+ (2560x1440 dots) display with 120Hz refresh rate features a fingerprint scanner and 10MP front-facing camera, while the main camera unit includes 64MP, 12MP and 5MP modules. The 4,500mAh battery supports fast charging with up to 25W.

The Galaxy Quantum2, developed with South Korean telecom operator SK Telecom, features a miniature (2.5x2.5mm) quantum random number generator (QRNG) chip created by ID Quantique, which is used to create unpredictable and pattern-free true random numbers. The technology encrypts and protects data stored on the smartphone. Quantum encryption is supported by all apps based on Android's native KeyStore API.
