The German energy equipment producer Siemens Energy has released its outcomes for the initial quarter of fiscal year 2025.

Alan Levine
The firm obtained orders totaling €13.7 billion, and the complete collection of orders that have been received but not finished reached an unprecedented €131 billion.

The firm credits this increase to a rise in demand for energy apparatus, such as gas and wind turbines, transformer substations, and so forth, amid the worldwide transition to a low-carbon economy and the growing adoption of artificial intelligence technologies.

Orders in the US, representing one-fifth of Siemens Energy's revenue, saw a notable increase: rising 62% to €3.9 billion.

Siemens Energy reported a net income of €252 million for the quarter, a decline of 84.1% compared to the previous year, yet exceeding the €130 million projected by LSEG analysts. Earnings per share also declined significantly, down 87.2% to €0.23 compared to the previous year. Quarterly revenue increased by 18.4% to €8.9 billion.
