Tesla in Q3 increases electric vehicle deliveries by 6.4% YoY

In the third quarter, Tesla, an American company, saw a 6.4% rise in deliveries compared to the previous year, reaching 462.89 thousand electric cars, as stated in the company's official statement.

Sales of Model 3 and Model Y, lower-priced models, accounted for 439,975 thousand, while the remaining sales totaled 22,915 thousand.

The average estimate from analysts on Wall Street was for the delivery of 462 thousand cars.

The manufacture of Tesla vehicles from July to September rose by 9.1% to 469,796 thousand units.

The report reads that the company will publish its complete financial results for the third quarter on October 23.

The trading on Wednesday saw Tesla's share prices drop by 3.6%. Throughout the year so far, the automaker's market value has stayed the same at $824 billion, while the Nasdaq Composite stock index has increased by around 19%.
