The 119,000 bpd Feyzin oil refinery, owned by TotalEnergies, is expected to be shut down until at least mid-October, according to the report.
It is stated that on September 16 the facility was completely shut down (except from the alkylation unit) due to a leak at the catalytic cracking unit. Approximately 40% of France's refining capacity has been idled, according to Reuters.
Last week's strike forced ExxonMobil's refineries in Fos-sur-Mer, which produced 235,000 bpd, and Port Jérôme, Gravenchon, which produced 240,000 bpd, to shut down.
