Virgin Galactic plans last commercial flight of Unity spacecraft starting from June 8

According to a press release from the corporation, "the window for spaceflight on the Virgin Galactic mission Galactic 07, organized by the United States, will open on June 8."

This will be the Unity spacecraft's final commercial mission, according to Michael Colglazier, the company's CEO.

Virgin Galactic will therefore make its second space journey of the year and its twelfth overall. Along with a researcher who will carry out scientific studies, the spacecraft will transport three private astronauts.

The new Delta spaceplanes are scheduled to go into service for commercial use in 2026.
