Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told to the agency that “Russia is prepared to do whatever it takes” for the U.S. and Iran to settle all issues via dialogue.

As per sources from Bloomberg, Donald Trump requested Russian President Vladimir Putin to mediate during their phone call on February 12. The agency's sources indicated that the matter was deliberated by the Russian and U.S. delegations in Riyadh on February 18.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei, when questioned about whether Russia had proposed to mediate between Tehran and Washington, stated, “Considering the significance of these matters, it is highly likely that multiple parties will express goodwill and readiness to contribute to resolving various issues. From this perspective, it is understandable that nations will provide help when it is necessary.”
