“Iran's military has readied missiles that can hit the U.S.-linked sites in response to Trump's ongoing threats of military intervention. (...) A large quantity of these launch-ready missiles are stored in underground facilities located throughout the nation, built to endure airstrikes,” the newspaper reported.

The Tehran Times writes that Iran has declined to enter negotiations with the U.S., asserting they are prepared to react forcefully to any acts of aggression.

Previously, Trump stated that should Washington and Tehran fail to agree on Iran's nuclear program, the US will execute a significant bombing campaign against Iran.

“If they fail to reach an agreement, there will be an airstrike. It will be a type of bombing they've never experienced before,” Trump stated during an NBC News interview.

He pointed out that besides attacks on Iran, he is prepared to implement secondary tariffs on products from that nation.

Simultaneously, Trump mentioned that there are presently “contacts” between officials from the U.S. and Iran.

Last week, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that the U.S. bases and allies would be unsafe if the U.S.officials opted to attack Iranian land.
