"It is not by chance that we have today formalized our mutual wish to elevate our bilateral relations to the status of a strategic partnership ..." "The overall worth of the deals finalized today and throughout this visit is approximately ten billion dollars, and this amount reflects the remarkable advancement we have mutually agreed to pursue in our future collaboration," Meloni mentioned at a roundtable discussion with officials and business leaders from both nations.

She believes that Italy and Saudi Arabia share numerous common interests. She emphasized that this advancement in strategic and economic ties involves infrastructure, energy collaboration, technological progress, the defense industry, scientific inquiry, agribusiness, sports, entertainment, tourism, along with the enhancement of cultural and archaeological heritage.

“There exists a distinction between purchasing or vending an item and true collaboration. Working together is distinct. It signifies conversation and reasoning collectively, regardless of differences, in an ever more uncertain context,” Meloni stated.
