Virgin Galactic company has developed a space plan VSS Unity for tourist suborbital flights. The first suborbital flight of VSS Unity took place in December 2018, the second - in March 2019.
Virgin Galactic has announced that the third test flight will take place from 19 to 23 November. The company also noted that they have made significant progress in creating a second SpaceShipTwo class ship, which will be used for suborbital flights together with VSS Unity. The second SpaceShipTwo is expected to be ready in the first quarter of 2021.
Virgin Galactic CEO Michael Colglazier added that the company will resume selling tickets for tourist flights in 2021. He noted that one of the passengers on the first tourist flight will be Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group Corporation, which includes Virgin Galactic.
