A couple of weeks back, he hosted a livestream on his page in the social media platform X, during which he conversed with Alice Weidel, the candidate from the far-right party Alternative for Germany (AdG).
Mr. Musk further expressed on X that “only the AdG can rescue Germany” and predicted an “epic triumph” in the Bundestag elections scheduled for late February.
The Tesla creator has lately expressed his views on the political situations in various European nations, such as France and the UK. In January, Tesla sales dropped by 63% in France and by 12% in the UK. Furthermore, the company's electric car sales dropped in Sweden (by 44%) and Norway (by 38%), potentially as a response to Mr. Musk's backing of the far-right in Europe.
