CNBC reported referring to a White House official that US tariffs on Chinese goods currently stand at 145%. US President Donald Trump on April 9 increased tariffs against Beijing from 84% to 125%, but prior to this, he had implemented a 20% tax due to Beijing's believed inadequate actions to limit fentanyl exports to the US, the TV channel's source clarified.

Up to this point, US media reported that the tariffs on Chinese goods in general have reached 125%.
