Microsoft Corp. plans to invest €4.3 billion in the next two years to enhance its infrastructure for cloud and AI development in Italy.

In a statement, Microsoft announced plans to invest in creating infrastructure for hyper-scale cloud data centers and AI data centers, in addition to providing training for over 1 million digital professionals by the end of the upcoming year.

The company stated that this would assist Italy in harnessing the full potential of artificial intelligence, while also aiding in the country's government's focus on long-term economic growth.

Microsoft has observed an increasing need for cloud solutions and the development of AI among Italian companies aiming to enhance productivity and maximize the advantages of AI.

The company noted that this investment in Italy will be its biggest one.
