The contracts, according to the declaration, were signed on October 21 and November 2.

U.S. Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment William LaPlante commented that "the distribution of these contracts underscores the considerable influence that MLRS has as a critical combat asset for our worldwide allies."

These defense commands, according to the Pentagon, enable the U.S. Army to restock its supplies while continuing to give vital support to its allies and partners on the front lines.
