A press release from Qualcomm reads that the business has agreed to provide Snapdragon 5G Modem-RF systems for Apple handsets scheduled to debut in 2024, 2025, and 2026.
The deal's financial details weren't made public. According to Qualcomm, they are the same as in the prior agreement from 2019.
Apple has been creating its own modems since purchasing the relevant division from Intel in 2019, but the release date has been repeatedly pushed back, according to Market Watch.
In its presentation on Monday, Qualcomm stated that only 20% of the iPhone model of 2026 will use its modem technologies. According to the newspaper, Apple may be planning to start utilizing its own modems by then.
